I purchased the Crane cool mist humidifier in Dec'10 and have used it, with great success, for many months. With all the negative reviews (about 20%) I almost didn't purchase this machine. But I'm glad I did, because it works really well for what it is: a mid size/capacity humidifier.First of all: ***this humidifier has a 2.3 gallon per day maximum output, with a .9 gallon tank.*** Amazon' initial title for this (and many other humidifiers) mentions daily output capacity rather than tank size..
Does a great job in the winter keeping the air moist. No noise and easy to refill.
I got this for my best friend and she says this works great and she loves it. She' a singer and the winter has been kicking her throats butt, so adding moisture into the room has helped.

Perfect size for our son' bedroom. The feature we really wanted was to be able to put essential oils in and this model has a dedicated drawer with sponge to put the oil in which is convenient and neat!It' quiet and puts out a good amount of moisture for a medium sized bedroom. The design is very different from any other ones I've seen veforem. You lift the humidifier out of a bucket which makes it very easy to fill. No dripping or leaking like our old humidifier every time you fill it! Definitely recommend!
I've tried several humidifiers from Amazon and I must admit this one is my favorite so far. The look is premium and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. The functionality works amazing. Have been running this now for about almost 2 weeks straight and it' been great. Have cleaned it out weekly to prevent buildup since we live in an area with water PPM above 400. This little humidifier is easy to use and does the trick to keep the air moist during these winter months with dry heat in my bedroom. I no longer wake up with dry flaky nares.
This is great- love the tesseract blue color. Water lasts a long time. Had trouble getting it started at first- needed to start by pushing the on off on the unit itself multiple times not the remote. My first model lasted a number of years. When I shopped around for another, I decided to buy this again. It works great, is pretty quiet and lasts quite awhile before a refill is needed. It can be tricky to slide the top back into place after filling it with water from the bottom. It' still a good buy. I recommend buying the fish to keep the mold to a minimum. They've made a huge difference.
Got an EcoBee smart thermostat and one of the things ii does is alert you to low and high humidity. I got surprised by an alert that house had dropped below 35% humidity, so decided to do something about it. The humidifier works well for the bedroom plus a little for the rest of the house. It is very simple to rinse out, clean and refill. Using reverse osmosis water daily keeps away any build up of residue. I turn it on at night so the light is helpful to verify operation. This is a good humidifier. It puts out a great amount of mist which is adjustable. The humidifier itself is not huge or bulky and is easy to move around from room to room. As the descriptions mentions, it holds ample amount of water that lasts through a day or two. Of course, cleaning it is easy as well. Considering all these, I highly recommend it.

Ive used this brand for several years. It holds up well.We bought a new model for another room. It is super easy to clean, quiet and easy to use. I wear a CPAP mask and in the winter would wake up at night with a dry throat. I put this in my large bedroom and the humidity came up 5% in 30 minutes. These are great little humidifiers, quiet and effective. I changed the filters in both, and they stopped working. After investigating, I discovered that there is supposed to be a small spring in the filter tube. I apparently lost - and cannot find - the springs. Maybe I can make a replacement with some wire Amazon does not have replacements parts, unfortunately. Nice humidifiers, though, used nightly for months!
I wanted a small humidifier for my office and this is the perfect size to fit on my little drawer unit. It has been easy to clean, I only use distilled water and rinse it out and let it dry every other day. I don't add oils for scent so I can't comment on that function. But the timer works and the colors are very pretty, I've gotten several people stopping to comment on how cute it is.
I love this humidifier and Ive tried quite a few. The unit pumps out a ton of vapor and you can tell it puts a good amount of humidity into the air. It was a top fill ability that actually has a ton of holes so you can easily fill it from the top without having to wait for the water to pour through. It has customized settings where itll automatically turn on or off based on the humidity in the air. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality humidifier.

I saw some reviews of it condensing around the unit. I used this in many hotels and never had an issue with that. Worked like a charm and great for travel. There is a bright small light on the back and I faced this away from me. The soft light built in is a nice night light in hotel rooms.
This is an excellent humidifier for small spaces and for traveling. I took it with me on vacation to a different country, and I could easily fit it in my suitcase.It took a few days before I figured out how the LEDs work. You almost don't notice it' on other than a light misting sound. Easy to use. Does what it' supposed to do. Only downfall is I noticed it wouldn't turn on with a USB C cord I already had so you have to use the one in the box.
I love this so much I bought 2 and sent one to my daughter. It really makes the dry heated air more easy to breath, adding an essential oil is great and I even use it in my home here in GHANA where it is very dry here due to the Harmatton. I love it.

I like that it has multiple settings (high/low). Plus we are using this in our baby' nursery so it helps that the sounds for the buttons are very quiet. First off, the height keeps the surfaces around it free of condensation. Second, the tank is a great size and sturdy enough to walk across the room without spilling any water. Third, it outputs an almost inaudible hum that is kind of soothing (and I typically hate, fixate, despise noises) this is just so quiet! This is the 4th purchase of this model humidifier. Bought 2 last year for my parents and now 2 for us.They are all working very well. Holds a good amount of water, are very quiet and highly customizable to what you want to to do. Love the included remote. Gives you the ambient humidity level in the room and has an internal light which can be turned off at night. Very little noise from this unit. The only suggestion I would recommend is to use filtered or distilled water to keep from cleaning it
I chose these because they are completely silent and have no lights that can be annoying when you sleep. They are small but super effecient and effective -- a small amount of water goes a long way. We have one in every bedroom.
The description doesnt mention that you also get a little hand-held, recgargeable humidifier in the box, too. Thats my current favorite, since its summer, the windows are open and big humidifier wont be used much for months. I was very excited to receive this. I was replacing a humidifier. I chose this one because it was a bit larger. I set item up and was working. A couple hours later item was not working properly. I made sure it was plugged in and noticed it was leaking a bit. I returned item and went with the smaller one, I previously had the Mist Air Studio by Pure Enrichment.

Great simple humidifier. It doesn't hold a whole lot of water so you may have to refill it daily (if you have it on the highest setting). Refilling is less frequent if you keep it at a low setting. This thing is great!

Its a perfect humidifier for small spaces. We bought it for our cat who seems to have a dry skin. We leave it on all night in the bedroom on intermittent mode. Keeps our whole apartment properly humid. A few months in and no real issues. Only complaints are 1) the humidity and fan settings reset if the power surges even a little bit, so it'll often be off for days before we notice (default humidity is 25%), even when clocks on other appliances etc. don't get reset, and 2) the light for the display is very bright and always on, but we covered it with a tinfoil flap so this isn't really an issue.Other than that it rocks! Has cold air even if you dont use the included ice blocks. The ice blocks comes with some crystals that you add water to that makes it into a permanent ice block. It was hard to open and some crystals fell out. I recommend you do it on a table over some paper towel. I dont think it sealed perfectly either. I just went to Walmart and bought 4 small square igloo ice blocks. Fits perfectly. Its weird that the blocks go on top instead of with the water in the bottom but other versions of this typ
I waffled for a long time on whether or not to buy this blanket and how I wish I hadn't! I am a very hot sleeper and this blanket is magic! I wouldn't necessarily call it cooling, it does warm to the touch, more temperature regulating. The material is unique and so soft. It' so nice to not have to add and remove blankets through the night! It may be expensive, but worth every cent.
I have had the unit(s) for a little over a month. I wanted to wait and give some time to use them before I wrote this review. Units like this are used in large commercial systems, so it does not make sense that some company did not make a smaller unit like this for the home before now. I have 2 of them on 2 systems in my home. They work great. If you are someone that is installing this yourself, it is a straightforward, very simple install. We've tried 5 different humidifiers, we don't have a whole house unit connected to the HVAC system. This unit is really nice, holds enough water to run all day on high output. This humifier greatly exceeded my expecations. It' very quiet and it pumps out lots of moisture and the controls on the base and the remote are easy to operate and understand. It works wonderfully at keeping the humidity at where I set it to be. Its very easy to fill. Has a window to see thru so that you know where you are at with the water level. It is NOT any more messy than any other humidifier out there.I ran it to empty and, just as I expected, the bottom reservoir had drained down an inch or so past the top so that the water basin could be removed without getting water everywhere.
